If a physically disabled voter is unable to enter an inaccessible polling place, the voter must register a request with the Lake County Clerk's Office that a ballot be delivered to the voter outside of the polling place. This request must be made no later than the close of business on the day preceding the election. Two election judges of opposite party affiliations will deliver a ballot to the voter at the point where the voter is unable to continue forward motion toward the polling place.
